Keep in mind it’s referencing similarities in the wave form. So it works just fine with music tracks as long as it’s referencing a similar audio track

They may have improved it since this video but absolutely. I actually showed how to keyframe the pan in this video.

@@RobertJBareIII I know of one thing that’s only in studio (new music remix tool) was why I asked. I get excited about these things then realize they are only in studio, lol.

@JasonLorette oh yeah I can't speak to any new tools they're coming out with. But the standard editor features like audio sync and others are all free for the most part. Some notable ones that aren't are things like noise reduction and lens correction.

this was the ultimate JIT short for me, I owe you! I was just done (or so I thought) with a video where I speeded up a clip, and had uploaded it to YT. I was devastated when I found out it caused a 3 second audio desync for the rest of the video. I checked my edit in DVR, and started to line up the clips to the waveform. I took a short break, then this short popped up in my notifications. I did as instructed, and it saved me a ton of time and frustration! Thank you, Daniel! Sincerely a dude from Norway trying to learn editing at the age of 50

VN editor has this feature but i am using windows now :(

Yep! Right click on the asset in your timeline and choose “change clip duration”, then just type in how long you want it to be in either seconds or frames. Afterwards, change your cursor to “Trim Edit Mode” (icon to the right of your cursor arrow just underneath the preview window) and you can left click inside of the asset in your timeline and drag it left or right to play the portion you want to display

It does they’ve just changed the RUclips UI. (See the pinned comment) From desktop, go into RUclips studio, on the left menu, select “content”, then choose the “Playlists” tab. Find the playlist you’d like to edit and from the three dot ellipsis all the way to the right, select “edit on RUclips”. Now you’ll be in the same place described in this Short.

Ha! Hence the name of the video…? 😜 I covered this in another video. From the Edit Page, place (hover) your cursor at the top of the track delineation line at the far left controls of that track. When the icon shifts to the stretch icon, left click & hold and drag upward (or downward) to resize that individual track. Much faster than any keyboard shortcut. Point, click & resize ☮️

@@Daniel_Batal Thanks for the reply and I didn't mean it in a bad way, these videos are great no matter how knowledgeable one is. I probably saw that video you're referring to as well as I was searching for an answer or anything and I am/was aware of the "classic" option of stretching/adjusting the window - in this case a track layer, but is there really no keyboard + mouse shortcut that would allow for individual track height adjustment? I can't quite believe that, however it wouldn't be the first time I encountered something I can do in premiere pro and can't do in davinci. It's not something I couldn't live without but it's a shame for me personally as I like davinci and these quality of life features are something I'd welcome. Ty and cheers for the videos!
